Hi, I'm Marya Riddick, a Squarespace website designer based in Raleigh, North Carolina and the founder of Community Design Co.

I started Community Design Co. because I saw how overwhelming website design can feel for small business owners. Many entrepreneurs are faced with expensive agency quotes, confusing technical decisions, and websites that are difficult to maintain after launch. I wanted to create a more accessible option—one that combines thoughtful design, practical strategy, and hands-on support.
Squarespace is my platform of choice because it allows businesses to launch professional, modern websites without the complexity of traditional website platforms. Every project is designed with usability in mind, and I provide guidance so you feel confident managing your website after it goes live.

From start to finish you will know this is your website. You’ll have access and ownership of your domain, website hosting (Squarespace) and any add-on services you choose for your website. This is for YOUR business, so why should we have all the control? -

We pride ourselves on being a small caring team that enjoys connecting with each client. Through the website creation process we get to know you and your business to do our part in helping you succeed. -
Upfront fees
There are no hidden fees in our packages for any service. Base fees, maintenance packages, etc are all detailed and agreed upon upfront during contract signings. We cover your domain purchase or transfer with Squarespace. Packages pricing starts at $550. -
Affordable Pricing
Most website designers focus on what they can add to your site to flex their own skill and add to their portfolio. This includes upselling you on maintenance fees, add-on services and training. Our focus is keeping the process stress free and affordable. We’ll help you choose the right package, build a custom package or point you to our Virtual Consultation service if you only need minor touch-ups on your site. -
Training & Guidance
Our job is to provide you with all of the tools you’ll need for success. Empower you to maintain and update your website after launch without hesitation. While under contract you’ll have access to various scheduled zoom calls as needed and flexibility. Before we hand your site over we provide educational videos & trainings that you can access at anytime as a CDCo client.
